I'm sure many of you wonder why I create Watercolor paintings that feature older railroads, fallen flags as they are called. To me the Railroads of the past were rich in many ways, the locomotives, the paint schemes, the buildings and signals, and on and on. I try to capture this history with each painting, the feeling of awe as a 4-8-8-4 thunders past or as a trio of diesels roar by. I hope you enjoy these painting as much as I enjoy producing them. There's so many more ideas in my mind!
